Heat Therapy for the Lower Back

Place a moist hot pack on top of a double-layered towel and fold the towel over the hot pack for protection. Lie on your stomach on your bed or on a firm sofa. Place the towel-wrapped hot pack across your lower back. Apply heat for 20 minutes. Wait at least one hour before repeating.
